Post & Vacancy Details:-
The candidates may apply for the GD Constable post i.e. BSF, CRPF, CISF, ITBF, SSB, NIA, and SSF.
Pay Band 1 Rs. 5200 to 20200 with Grade Pay of Rs.2000/.
The candidates may apply for the GD Constable post, candidates must have to complete their Matriculation (class 10th) or its equivalent exam from the recognized board or council.
Candidates who will apply for the post of GD Constable after the final publication of Official Recruitment Notification, their age limit must be in between 18 to 23 years as on 01.08.2017. The age relaxation permissible for the SC and ST candidates are 5 years, for Ex-serviceman (Unreserved / General) 3 years relaxation, for Ex-serviceman (OBC) 6 year relaxation, for Ex- serviceman (SC/ST) 08 years relaxation. Candidate who had ordinarily been domiciled in the State of Jammu & Kashmir
The recruitment process will consist of Physical Standards Test (PST), Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Written Examination & Medical Examination.
Physical Standards Test / Physical Endurance Test will be scheduled and conducted by CAPFs. Call Letter to candidates will be issued / uploaded on their website by the coordinating CAPF / CRPF.
The Commission will conduct written examination of candidates qualified in PST / PET in both Online (Computer based) and Offline (Paper Mode) .
Online examination will be in English & Hindi only. Offline examination will be in English, Hindi and other Regional languages mentioned in official advertisement.
Application Fee is Rs.100 (for all Un-Reserved candidates). Fee paid by modes other than SBI Challan or Online payment through SBI Challan / Net Banking / Credit Card and Debit Card from State Bank of India, as stated above, will not be accepted and the applications of such candidates will be rejected forthright and the payment made shall stand forfeit.
Fee is exempted for all Women candidates and candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribes, Physically Handicapped and Ex Serviceman eligible for reservation.
The online submission of the application may be be made at website www.ssconline.nic.in. Instructions are available on the Staff Selection Commission Online website. Candidates should read the instructions carefully before making any entry or selecting options. Candidates should supply all the required details while filling up the online form.
In Registration part, candidate will have to fill basic Information, on submission of details, candidates shall be prompted to check the details and make any correction in the registration.
Then a page with Registration ID and Passwords will appear. Note down the Registration ID and password and keep it safely. The application procedure is incomplete without application part. Application part requires filling on payment details, uploading photograph and scanned signature . Online application will be complete only if scanned signature and photo are uploaded as per instructions.
